Welcome to ASPA - Arkansas School Psychology Association!

The Arkansas School Psychology Association (ASPA) represents School Psychology Specialists who work in the public schools in Arkansas. In addition, licensed mental health professionals such as counselors, psychologists, psychological examiners, and educators serving the mental health and educational needs of children in Arkansas are welcome to join!

Purpose:
    
  The Arkansas School Psychology Association was founded in 1981, and is an affilitate of the National Association of School Psychologists. 
The purpose of this organization shall be:

a. To support its members in their delivery of educational and mental health services to children and their families;
b. To support its members in their efforts to advance system-wide strategies for educational service delivery;
c. To advance the professional standards of school psychology;
d. To encourage and provide opportunities for the professional growth of Association members; and
e. To inform the public about the services and practice of school psychology
   
Mission Statement:
  The Arkansas School Psychology Association in a professional association that serves its members and society by working with schools, communities, and families to promote the educational and mental health needs of children.
